Background:
Spurcroft Primary School is sited southwest of Thatcham and within easy access of the town centre. The school is a modern open-plan building based on a pyramid design. The school has extensive grounds with a large playing field, conservation area and willow maze. The school is currently undergoing building work for expansion and refurbishment of the existing open plan building into more formal classrooms. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The aims to provide a stimulating and safe learning environment that is attractive and orderly.
