Background:
Aldermaston School has educated children form the village and surrounding area for nearly 200 years. It caters for children aged four to 11 years. The school has superb facilities with a large hall for assemblies, indoor physical education and extramural classes enjoyed by the local community as well as the pupils. The site includes a large playing field, adventure playground and an environmental area with a pond. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These include hockey, netball, cricket and rounders. Educational visits both locally and further afield are regarded as an integral part of the children's curriculum. The school aims to create an ethos of challenge, support and encouragement to reach their full potential.
