Background:
The present-day school is situated in a pleasant brick building, set in attractive grounds. It has 14 classrooms, plus a hall with drama lighting and PE equipment, an ICT suite, library, kitchen and dining room and office areas. There are also two mobile classrooms in the school grounds. The nursery unit is sited in a separate pre-fabricated building, with its own enclosed garden and play area. Every class in main school has a computer, which is connected to the internet. There is also a suite of computers in Key Stage 2 and various other items of ICT equipment. Children have an indoor and outdoor lesson every week, weather permitting. During the year there are a number of after-school sports clubs for older children. The school aims to help child to learn to respect the beliefs and practices of others.
