Background:
Goring Church of England Aided Primary School was founded in 1855, and the present building was built in the 1960s. The grounds include a playing field, a playground, a wild life area and an outdoor swimming pool. Inside there is a music room, a separate PE hall, a dedicated computer room and an assembly hall. There are community education classes three nights a week, with disabled access to two halls, an admin area and two classrooms. Extra curricular activities include science club, choir, craft club, football club and netball club. This year the school supported several charities including Christian Aid, Children in Need, RSPCA, RSPB and the Children's Liver Disease Foundation.
