Background:
Ranikhet Primary School occupies a building, which opened in 1970. It is set in six acres of pleasant grounds, including playing fields, in the Dee Road housing estate. The estate provides the school with the majority of its intake. Although Ranikhet Primary's semi-open-plan building looks small, it offers six classes. After-school clubs including French, information and communication technology, football, lacrosse and bell ringing. It maintains links with two local churches, and children raise funds for the Lions and Cancer Research. The school aims to provide a caring, secure and stimulating environment.
