Founded in 1956, Langley Grammar School is located on a 16-acre site next to Kedermister Park. Sporting strengths include all major sports, with players regularly representing county and region; several have gained international honours. Music tradition, with choir and orchestra; 170 pupils learning musical instrument. Drama and art are strong. Comprehensive inter-house programme of events. New sports centre and teaching facilities under construction; due for completion in 2006. Partner with Computer Associates in Digital Schoolhouse at Ditton Park for Year 6 ICT pupils; Further Mathematics Network; Rolls Royce Science Prize 2005; Royal Academy of Engineering - Education in Engineering Award; Enhanced Quality Careers Award.
