Background:
Cheapside CofE Primary School is situated on the edge of Windsor Great Park for more than 100 years, the small village primary moved to its current site in two acres of delightful secluded surroundings in 1964. The school provides facilities in the ground, which includes an environmental area, playground with adventure trail, school field and quiet area. There is a hall, four classrooms, music room and library. The school is quite heavily over-subscribed with 30 applications received for 16 places. It traditionally serves the area that includes the village of Cheapside and Sunninghill Park and aims to provide a happy, caring, secure and stimulating environment for all children to work to their full potential. The school aims to offer a broad curriculum including all the core National Curriculum subjects. It also provides After-school clubs such as soccer, netball, cricket, tennis, gymnastics, cycling proficiency and swimming. Cheapside has strong community links.
